The paper deals with the inventory of sacred groves and its phytodiversity from Kumaon Himalaya. These groves are well recognized in the world in terms of biodiversity conservation. Kumaon Himalayan region comprises many sacred groves, different ethnic cultures, traditional way of conserving biota.
