Stem cell-based therapy has emerged as a promising approach for the treatment of various diseases and injuries, and novel strategies are actively implemented to optimize the safety and efficacy of the therapies. As the clinical applications become increasingly diverse, there is a growing need for the integration of findings from numerous transplantation studies to assess the current status of stem cell-based interventions.
