One of the main aspects of each product is the user satisfaction of its usability. User satisfaction is led as the physical and mental efforts are minimized. In this paper, a driver interface is designed that can handle both auditory and visual alarms. This interface is used for warning drivers about the remained battery in the electrical engine. A driving simulator is used for evaluating the usability of driving while using this interface. The key index of the usability is a driver’s stress, when uses this interface under different situations. For data gathering, this interface is used in 12 experiments which each one consists of four steps with two active variables. These variables are alarm types and traffic congestion that change during simulation.... view moreĀ»
