Genetic Diversity Analysis and Screening of High Psoralen Yielding Chemotype of Psoralea corylifolia from Different Regions of India Employing HPLC and RAPD Marker

Psoralea corylifolia, an important medicinal herb of Fabaceae is a rich source of secondary metabolites, furanocoumarins (psoralen, isopsoralen) and isoflavonoids (genistein, daidzein). A wide variation in terms of genetic diversity and psoralen content has been recorded through RAPD and HPLC analysis, respectively among various chemotypes of P. corylifolia collected from eight different regions of India, viz.
