Evaluation of Rapid Immunodiagnostic Test for Rabies Diagnosis Using Clinical Brain Samples in Ethiopia
Rabies is an acute viral disease of the central nervous system (CNS) that affects humans and other mammals. The main reservoir for humans is known to be carnivores. Rabies is almost invariably fatal once the clinical signs develop. Rabies is caused by rabies virus belonging to the genus Lyssavirus, family Rhabdoviridae that has been known to comprise 12 different genotype
