Abstract

Intradural Intramedullary Neurocysticercosis- An Uncommon Presentation and Review of Literature

Neurocysticercosis, involvement of central nervous system by Taenia solium, one of the most common parasitic diseases of the CNS. Incidence of spinal neurocysticercosis only 0.7-5.8% of all cases, even in endemic areas. Most cases occur in the spinal arachnoid space and cysticercosis in intramedullary location is extremely rare.
