Abstract
The study of methods for the management of health information and services is Health Care Informatics. It is a multidisciplinary area that by some combination of higher quality and higher performance uses health information technology (HIT) to improve health care. Typically, health information management jobs focus on the information technology needed to accurately and securely store and retrieve patient data and manage people and processes.
