Pregnancies in women with spinal cord injury (SCI) is well eleborated in the litherature but SCI occuring during pregnancy is rarely reported. Managment of SCI during pregnancy needs comprehensive approach. In early stage pregnancy has higher risks with surgery and immobilisation. There is a higher risk of developing pressure ulcers, urinary tract infections, autonomic instability, intrauterine growth retardation and venous thromboembolism.
