Abstract
Diabetes Drug Discovery has been in researches for many decades. Scientists managed to discover new agents dedicated from sulfonylurea group. However, only one crystal structure has been in protein data bank database was available for sulfonylurea group. Hence, determining the binding site for sulfonylurea compounds assists in developing new agents with more potency but less adverse effects. Hereby, I managed to study in silico the binding site and explain the adverse effect of some compounds of this group. This can encourage researches to develops new compounds, as well.
Biography
Farah Khalil Yousef has taught in different national and private universities in Syria for more than 5 years. She has many publications in diabetes. She has almost finished PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from Damascus University. She is a member in scientific research committe in private university. She is also an editor in different American scientific journals.
