Abstract
Cancer-related pain significantly affects patientsâ?? quality of life and requires an individualized approach balancing effective analgesia and side effect management. Dr. Claire Dubois from Paris presents strategies for managing acute and chronic cancer pain using opioid and non-opioid analgesics, adjuvants, and interventional techniques. She highli ghts the importance of early pain assessment, opioid rotation, and integration of psychological support. Dr. Dubois also reviews palliative care principles and emerging treatments such as nerve blocks and neu rolytic procedures.
