Abstract
Chronic back pain remains a leading cause of disability worldwide. Interventional pain management techniques offer minimally invasive options for patients refractory to conservative treatment. Dr. Rajesh Patel from Mumbai reviews the indications, techniques, and outcomes of procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet joint blocks, and radiofrequency ablation. He discusses patient selection criteria, procedural risks, and evidence supporting these interventions in various etiologies including degenerative disc disease and spinal stenosis. Practical tips for procedural safety and post procedure care will be provided. This session aims to update clinicians on best practices for integrating interventional techniques into comprehensive chronic back pain management.
