Self-awareness and health information approach of oral health among well-educated in Taiwan

Taiwan has been recognized as the best healthcare system in the world for two years in a row according to the results of an online survey, especially the highest coverage rate of national health insurance (99.9% of the population). Also, dental health promotion and treatment are included.

However, with such abundant resources, our prevalence of dental caries and periodontist are still high. Objective: The research aims to know the self-awareness such as whether do they think their oral health status is good or their oral health concept is correct, and also their health information approach of oral health in different age groups who got at least bachelor degree in Taiwan. Material and methods: 206 copies of questionnaire were collected but only 166 copies of questionnaire were analysed in the research, which are well-educated so that the education level bias can be exclude
