Younes Ghasemi is currently Dean of School of Advanced Medical Sciences and Technologies, Head of Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, School of Pharmacy, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.

He is associated as a Professor at the School of Pharmacy at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences since 2011. He pursued his Pharm D from School of Pharmacy at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran. He pursued his PhD at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Faculty of Pharmacy at Tehran University during 1997-2002.
