Diabetes mellitus and its complications continue to be one of the highest causes of morbidity and mortality in recent time. In the present study, Mucuna pruriens seed extract has been formulated into tablets using direct compression and wet granulation methods and the in vivo anti-diabetic properties of the tablet have been evaluated in alloxan-induced diabetic rabbits.
