Biography

He is Assistant professor in Ajloun National University. He is having experience of Three year teaching in Institute of Public Administration IPA in Saudia Arabia in Sabtemper 2012. One year teaching in Toledo college in Jordan 2011-2012 Three year experience in teaching (roughly six hours per week from 1st./Suptember/ 2007 – till 31st./October/ 2010. Six months research assisstant in the project “Marketing Relationship and Destinatio. He has completed his PhD in Tourism Management, University Science Malaysia, Malaysia (2011). He compleyted Master in Tourism, Yarmouk University, Jordan (2006). He complted B.Sc. in Tourism and Hotel Management, Irbid Private University, Jordan (2004)

Sustainable Tourism in Saudi Arabia: Factors Affecting Tourism Awareness of Saudi Citizens

Tourism awareness is considered as backbone of tourism development in world destinations. The main objective of this study is to identify the main factors influencing tourism awareness among Saudi citizens. Sustainable tourism focuses on achieving the balance between the needs of the tourists, the environment, local people, and business. To achieve the objective of this study a questionnaire was designed and administered to 389 respondents from Saudi citizens. Data reveled that there were four factors affected the Saudi tourism awareness: economics, activities program, information and media, entertainment and local, results also showed that there is relationship between awareness factors and socio-demographic characteristics.
