Chiara Piccini is Centro di Ricerca per lo Studio delle Relation tra Pianta e Suolo, Italy. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. Her research interests Geoinformatics & Geostatistics, and many publications in various national and international journals. He is the author Board Member of Journal and serves as a member of various associations, apart from being an author for many books.

A primary problem in agro-environmental surveys at regional scale is the availability of accurate maps of soil properties; these provide policy makers with information at a scale at which protection measures are likely to be implemented and followed with efficient results. This work aimed to analyse the spatial variability and to predict the total organic carbon content of the soils in Friuli Venezia Giulia Region (Northern Italy).
