Biography
Professor Christine White started her working career as a stage manager, electrician and lighting designer. Prof. White has worked for five UK universities and is currently Head of the School of Art and Design and Assistant Dean for the Faculty of Arts, Design & Technology at the University of Derby. Prof. White has published 5 books exploring theatre devices, the relationship of directors and designers and the different environments for spectating performative events, and the spaces that types of work are played out in.
