Biography

Dr. Kaplan is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. His clinical expertise is in cirrhosis, viral hepatitis, hepatocellular carcinoma and fatty liver. His research interests include translational research in therapy for liver cancer, epidemiological research into the relationship of medication exposures and the natural history of chronic liver disease, and clinical research related to cirrhosis.
