Pilli Emmanuel Shubhakar has 23 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. He was awarded PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee for the thesis on "A Framework for Network Forensic Analysis in 2012. He completed a research project "Investigating the Source of Spoofed E- mails" from UCOST, Dehradun in 2016. He has coauthored a book "Fundamentals of Network Forensics - A Research Perspective" for Springer in 2016. He is guiding 7 M. Tech and 11 Ph. D students in Security & Forensics, Cloud Computing, Big Data, IoT, and Blockchain.

The concept of network forensic deals with the Data clues detect across network connection mostly different types of traffic from one host to another. Network Forensic is the innovative concepts to resolve the attack problems. It involves seeking out and finding security and other problems within computer network. So in this paper we will study the network forensic requirements and the various strategies related to it by the researchers. We also try to focus on new emerging research challenges in network forensic.
