Plasmin is a two chains molecule connected by two Disulfide bridge, Plasmin results of plasminogen (MW 92 Kdal) activation by rupture of the union Arg560-Val-561. Plasminogen activation is produced by activators of plasminogen as t-PA (tissue - Plasminogen Activator) or Streptoquinase. Plasmin has interactions with substances, proteases and inhibitors as α2-antiplasmin with to a lesser activity α2-macroglobulin for its regulation in blood.
