Ismail G?genur dedicated to the development and implementation of new surgical treatments as well as teaching. My research activities have primarily focus on surgical pathophysiology. A major focus is on developing the treatment strategies in the perioperative period in order to improve short and long term oncological outcome. I have written 6 book chapters and 319 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals; 24 as first author, 95 as co-author and 200 as last author.

Effects of Melatonin on Sleep after Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy: A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial
