Biography

Jerry Agrusa is an Professor in the School of Travel Industry Management specializing in hospitality and tourism management. He has been a faculty member at leading hospitality management programs in the USA for over 25 years. Dr. Agrusa’s past positions include the Chair/ Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of North Texas, the Chair/Professor at Hawai?i Pacific University and two Endowed Professorships at the University of Louisiana.

Customer-based brand equity is one of the widely used concepts to measure and evaluate brand performance. The aim of this research was to adopt a widely used customer-based brand equity model in the context of the Maldives.
