Dr. Kimberly Severt is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Hospitality Management program at The University of Alabama.Prior to joining the University of Alabama, she taught at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida. Dr. Severt has completed grant projects for the Incentive Research Foundation, PCMA, MPI. Her areas of research include: customer equity in the convention industry, consumer behavior for meeting attendees, attributes influencing meeting planner’s destination selection, and consumer food and beverage purchasing intentions. Dr. Severt graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2007.
