Biography

Dr. Kirsi Jussila. D.Sc. (Tech), Specialist research scientist in Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (Oulu, Finland)  Her main field of research is related to clothing physiology, use of PPE in different ambient conditions and working in cold and hot climates.  She is an 'young investigator' and finnished her doctoral studies in Tampere University of Technology in 2016.

Garment fit and still air between clothing layers affect heat transfer through the clothing and thus the thermal insulation.
