Introduction: Hypertension increases under vehement excitement and stress. Rhythmic breathing is a way of controlling the stress. Hence, this study was carried out to determine the effect of training rhythmic breathing on the blood pressure of hypertensive patients.
Methods: The present research is a post- and pre-semi experimental study. The research community includes all hypertensive patients higher than 140/90 mm at Zabol Amir Al- Momenin Hospital, Zabol, Iran. The sample size consists of 32 people who selected by means of available sampling. Data analysis was done on SPSS® and by means of paired sample T-test, independent T-test and Pearson correlation coefficient.
