Biography
Dr. Khalifa (MD, FRCPsych), is an Associate Professor in Forensic Psychiatry at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is also the Regional Psychiatry Lead for the Ontario Region of Correctional Service Canada. He has obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nottingham, and completed his Forensic Psychiatry training the United Kingdom.

Patient Characteristics and Outcome Measurement in a Forensically Informed Predischarge Unit

Purpose
This study sought to describe the demographic and clinical characteristics of patients admitted to forensically informed pre-discharge unit in England.
Design
Using a prospective service evaluation framework and a clinical case register (n=30) patients were assessed for any change over admission.
