Dr. Patrick Amoateng is a neuropharmacologist with a keen interest in drug discovery from medicinal plants and other natural products for the treatment of epilepsy, psychosis, depression, neuropathy and other related neurological diseases. He employs neuropharmacological animal screening models, and models of mechanisms of actions as well as toxicological investigations of natural products during his drug discovery studies

Background: Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is widespread and a relevant health condition among women.
