Biography

John Reilly is the co-director of the Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change, and a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Reilly has had over 35 years experience inthe design, management and operations of transportation systems.

Land management for carbon sequestration offers an opportunity to avoid about 0.5°C of warming if landowners have full economic incentives to participate in a global greenhouse gas mitigation policy.
