Biography

Rosa Camila Gomes Paiva is Assistant Professor at the University Center of João Pessoa-UNIPÊ in the Physiotherapy and Medicine courses, Member of the Structuring Teaching Nucleus (NDE) of the João Pessoa University Center-UNIPÊ in the Physiotherapy course (2016-2018), Professor at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Paraíba (FCM-PB) and State Coordinator of the Brazilian Association of Physical Therapy Teaching.

Background: Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment has been consistently shown to have a positive effect on excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), however no studies comparing subgroups of patients with different levels of mild-moderate and severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) has been performed.
