Gehad Mohammed Saleh is a Former Professor of Geology Director, Geology Department, Faculty of Science, Damietta University, New Damietta City, Egypt. He is also a Former Professor of Nuclear Geology Director, physics Department, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Mansoura City, Egypt. Dr. Gehad Mohammed Saleh completed his Ph.D in Geology from El-Mansoura University, Egypt in 1997 and in 1993, he did his M.Sc in Geology from El-Mansoura University, Egypt and in1987, he completed his B.Sc in Special Geology from El-Mansoura University, Egypt.

Uranium Mineralization and Spectrometric Prospecting along Trenches of Um Safi area, Central Eastern Desert of Egypt
Um Safi area is located in the southern part of the central Eastern Desert of Egypt, between latitudes 25°14` 56`` to 25°24` 05``N and longitudes 34°03` to 34°15`E. The basement rock units of Um Safi area is a part of the Arabian-Nubian Shield. They are represented by serpentines rocks, metavolcanics and related volcaniclastic, metagabbro - diorite complex and older granitoids.
