Therapeutic Effects of Sinomenine Microemulsion- Based Hydrogel on Adjuvant-Induced Arthritis in Rats

Sinomenine is an alkaloid isolated from the traditional Chinese medicinal herb Sinomenium acutum, which has been used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in China. The objective of this work was to investigate the effect of sinomenine microemulsion-based hydrogel (SMBH) on Freund’s complete adjuvant-induced arthritis(AA) in Wistar rats.
