Abstract
In this investigation we have developed a core-in-cup system to provide pulsatile delivery. The system consisted of a core three layer tablet, containing the drug and an impermeable coating outer shell containing Dextran. All formulations displayed a lag time of 120- 240 mins. Depending on the structure of the system and its constituents. Drug release varied depending on the structure and its ingredients.
