Abstract

Fuzzy Controller Design for Refrigerators

TRefrigerators are one of the most applicable devices that use compression refrigeration cycle. In recent years, researches have been focused to increase the performance of these systems and improve their efficiency. In this study, an effective controller has been presented that controls internal temperature of household refrigerators and its performance shall be compared with the other commonplace controllers. The main issue of this work is to set the internal temperature of refrigerator, reduction in energy losses and to determine the suitable operating point of compressor to avoid excessive energy consumption. Moreover, this kind of controller could be installed on the other cooling systems that benefit from compression refrigeration cycle.
