Software testing is a critical phase in the software development lifecycle that ensures the reliability, functionality, and performance of software applications. This KPI gauges the readiness of the software for release based on various quality metrics. It aids decision-making regarding software deployment. By tracking relevant metrics and KPIs, teams can identify potential issues early in the testing process and take corrective actions.
