Abstract


Around 90% of public building including schools, hospital, hotel and others business and government building are not accessible children, women and adults with Disabilities. More than (200000) schools age children with disability has no access to comprehensive education due to attitudinal and physical barriers. The Ministry of Education of Afghanistan has passed the policy to be accessible the new schools according to the Design for All in 2008 but there are no stakeholders from the government side to apply the policy. (AOAD) is an Afghan Non-Governmental and non-political Organization lead by person with disabilities for persons with disabilities in Afghanistan working for providing physically accessibility in the Schools with adaptation, Water Accessible water Sanitation and integration for Children to Education. Accessibility is not only meaning accessible ways and building, but AOAD lobbying government and civil society to build an inclusive society such as accessible transportation and comprehensive and accessible education for including all Afghans in the new Afghanistan. Thousands of children living with severe disabilities and needs medical rehabilitations in the Internal Displaced families (idps) camps or conflict affected families with no attention because, the idps families are the poorest of the poor they lost their homes and properties.
