Abstract
According the UN’s predictions, it is estimated that global population can overcome 11 billion inhabitants until the end of the 21st century, leading to a global economy which necessity three times more resources than those we use now. The present study investigated how circular strategies can help companies to perform and to be clean. The 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) development strategy will help to retain materials and products in the economy for as long as possible, saving primary reserves in order to accomplish the agenda 2030. Moreover, in our current economy, approximately 80% from what we use is being eliminated directly after use. Other researchers conclude that over 99% from the total flow of generated materials for goods’ production end with the elimination of wastes during the following 6 months. Starting from the abovementioned aspects, we will present 15 models of 3R strategies in Europe, with the results and indicators assumed in them.
