Abstract


The aim of this preliminary study was to establish the effects of post-traumatic stress in people aged 20 to 40 years, victims of violence during social protests, in order to verify the incidence of a violent episodic in the symptoms described in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Twenty subjects have been interviewed and attended online for prior assessment to legal assistance, with the application of reagents has been assessed stress and psychological traits with the MMPI2 test. The results have evidenced the chronicity of the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; it is present when a traumatic event has been seen causing violence in others and / or the victim has received physical or psychological violence, and the risk factors such as family dysfunction, and the emotional instability. Follow-up studies and other disorders, in these victims, complete the literature on these cases.
