The actual practice of female pelvis ultrasound scans is huge, in terms of the number of patients. Information provided by ultrasound scans is considered safe, fast and has high percentage of accuracy. This modality outcome is quite remarkable if there is an easy protocol to follow. This presentation aims to engage beginners and practitioners by increasing confidence of interpretation and classification rather than just taking images and describe the lesions morphology. There are many sources and guidelines about the classification of ovarian lesions, but mostly it is a single view point and interpretation, so this presentation will hopefully show wider picture and help sonographers, radiologists and gynecologists when it comes to female pelvis ultrasound scans.

Ibnrushd Himat has completed his MSc in2008, ARDMS, and RVT. Member of the SVT-GBI, 15 years’ experience in the general and vascular ultrasound, in Multispecialty hospitals, Sport Medicine Hospital, and Occupational hospital, now in Kent and Canterbury hospital Senior Vascular Sonographer.
