Akdeniz University

Akdeniz University could be a field university in metropolis Province of Turkey. It’s the leading educational activity and research project center of the West Mediterranean region of Turkey. within the 2010–2011 school year thirty 1,167 students attended the university: 13,200 pre-graduates, 16,278 bachelor degree students, and 1,305 post-graduates. Akdeniz University was supported in 1982 and incorporated with the upper education establishments already established in metropolis, Isparta and Burdur. It’s established on close to 925 acres (3.74 km2) of land to the west of metropolis central city between Dumlupinar avenue and therefore the Uncalı district. On Jan 21, 2011, Turkish medico Dr. Ömer Özkan and his team with success performed the country’s first-ever full face transplant at the university's hospital in metropolis. The 19-year-old patient, Uğur Acar's face was badly burnt during a house hearth once he was a baby. The donor was 39-year-old Ahmet Kaya, WHO died on Jan twenty. The university could be a member of the University Association and concerned in diplomacy and comes like statue maker and theologiser.
