Abstract

Aging is an inevitable process and has been attracting attention from the public health sectors. It is estimated that aging population in U.S will reach 88.5 million by 2050 and the healthcare costs would be enormous due to various adverse health outcomes such as loss of muscle mass and decline in muscle functioning and balance ability . These may affect elderly’s daily activities such as dressing, standing and locomotion.
