Dr. D. Gent Dotson is currently a tenure-track professor in the College of Health Science?s Department of Rehabilitation Studies at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama. He teaches courses in the Bachelor of Science degree program in Rehabilitation Services with a concentration in addiction studies. Dr. Dotson received his Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the Rehabilitation Institute at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he studied under the nationally renowned addiction scholar Dr. D. Shane Koch.
