Biography
she is a native of Ohio where my interest in Standardbred harness racing and journalism led to a career in agricultural communications. I teach introduction to agricultural communication, agrimarketing and sales, technical and professional communication, graphic design, and senior seminar-website design. My primary research focuses on designing and testing models for increasing civic engagement and social capital in local communities through the local food movement (farmers’ markets, community supported agriculture, direct-to-retail businesses)..
