Dr. Muy-Teck Teh, worked as Wellcome Trust Postdoctoral Fellow at Queen Mary, University of London. He is currently working in the Centre for Clinical and Diagnostic Oral Sciences at Queen Mary, University of London. His areas of research interests include genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, pattern recognition using Artificial Intelligence and mathematics, 3D organotypic tissue regeneration.

Can Challenges of Oral Cancer Diagnosis be Resolved?

Early oral cancer detection and accurate diagnosis remain the most challenging aspects of oral oncology. Heterogeneity in oral cancer (mostly squamous cell carcinoma) renders accurate classification problematic, which in turn impacts on treatment decision and patient outcome.
