Abstract
Apparel designing and fitting often requires a mannequin or a dummy to fit-test if a garment is well designed and can fit properly on a human figure. However, these mannequins/dummies are until now, fixed in size and shape. A new innovative robotic mannequin, called “i.Dummy” has been designed and developed that can change its size, shape, proportion and measurements three-dimensionally. This would help the industry to reduce cost and space in having one mannequin/dummy instead of having many fixed size ones.
