Abstract
As the populations around the world turn grey, diagnosis and treatment planning still remains rooted in tradition and conventions of past experience and knowledge. Real world evidence is beginning to redefine oral health sciences and the challenges today are of understanding facial ageing, the serious challenge of airway centric care and the conceptual challenge of aestehtics in this media conscious world. More than technologies, disruptive thinking and redefining the boundaries of current concepts is critical. This keynote lecture will explore the dimensions of the emerging concepts and look at bridging the interface to clinical care.
