Abstract

Almost 50% of pediatrics sustains some type of dental injury in early age. Many of these injuries are preventable. These injuries can lead to loss of permanent teeth may result in long-lasting functional, economic, cosmetics and psychosocial effects. The outcome for many of these dental injuries may be uncertain until the permanent dentition is established; these conditions and effects can be improved by prompt, appropriate treatment and referral. This topic will cover injuries of the teeth, intra-oral, lip, and tongue lacerations in pediatrics their effect and treatment strategy.
