Abstract

I have researched the relationship between dental treatment and whole the whole-body condition. I would like to report the cases which dental treatment was effective for improvement of motor function. Case 1; A 65 year-old-woman had suffered the symptoms like rheumatism i.e. difficult to write due to swelling her fingers, difficult to grasp, knee pain, etc. She couldn’t cut vegetables with a kitchen knife and open a cap of a plastic bottle neither as she couldn’t have enough power on her fingers. After my treatment, she could cut same vegetables easily and open a cap of a plastic bottle. Case 2; A 40-year-old woman. She was an instructor of yoga. She was hard to take several poses due to stiffness. After my dental treatment, she made some poses easier. There is a close relationship between dental condition and body motor function. To perform adequate treatments for patients suffering from motor function disorders, it is necessary to co-operate dentistry with medicine.
