Abstract

The gold standard for the treatment of tooth defects requires cleaning of the tooth and placing restorative material to fill voids without promoting the natural biological repair process of the tooth. Restorative materials, which are commonly used, are not an ideal substitute for dentin regeneration. The development of effective dentin regeneration material is a dentistry necessity because of the limitations of existing treatment options and the need for improved clinical outcomes.
