Abstract

Removal of broken cast post from the root canal is challengeable and nightmare, which considers the key to successful retreatment with failed prosthetic treatment. Its removal is of particular importance for accessing intact endodontic therapy for new cavity space. The post removal carries the risk of further complications associated with the formation of ledges, perforations and root fracture. The purpose of the case report is to present minimal invasive technique and armamentarium for removing broken cast post from the root canal in order to save the tooth.
