Abstract

Oral health is overall health which signifies the importance of treating oral diseases. The prevalence of dental diseases is increasing and it is becoming a widespread phenomenon. For instance, as per the study titled “Prevalence of Periodontitis in Adults in the USA”, in 2009 and 2010, 64.7 million American adults, have mild, moderate or severe periodontitis. This count increases among people who are older than 65. So, Dental clinicians always seek to find new treatment methods to provide the best care possible to improve people’s quality of life.
